shots/lyrics intial plan

Lyrics / shots

“You think it’s bad, that I lost myself in the forest.”

Wide, straight angle – slow track forward (dolly). The shot fades in as the lyrics begin making the sound synchronous to the visuals we will be involving the model/subject and the indoor installation set up.

“You should be glad that I came one time.”

As this lyric finishes, the straight tracking will be altered. And begin roaming around the subject interweaving with the installation.

“You think it’s bad that I got lost in the forest, yeah”

As this lyric finishes, the straight tracking will be altered. And begin roaming around the subject interweaving with the installation.

“You should be glad that I came one more time”

As this lyric finishes, the straight tracking will be altered. And begin roaming around the subject interweaving with the installation. During the build-up of the momentum the camera angle will be altered becoming a low angle empowering the subject just as the beat drops.

(Beat drop) insert shot from Norway introduced by a light flash. And possibly writing on visuals. During this shot the beat becomes powerful and fast, the visuals will correlation synchronously to the score through post-production.

“You think it’s bad that I lost my mind through the forest”

At this point, the score becomes slower – reverting to its original pace. To contrast the previous powerful pace, we will once again revert to slow paced movement however, the set up will be altered. The subject will not be in the shot at this point. The projection will be on the leaves of the plant.

“You think I’m mad…cause it took my time”

At this point, there will slow motion abstract imagery, slow motion visuals of flower petals. Hopefully, the projection will show on up on the petals producing shadows in the background. This will be a close up straight angle shot.

“You think it’s bad that I’m here in the forest”

The visuals will quickly shift back to the original installation set up featuring the subject who will be seen as uneasy. There will be layering in post-production where the subject is the only aspect of the shot that is moving. We will affect the footage timing in postproduction and layer in Final Cut Pro.

“You should be glad… got a peace of mind”

(Beat drop) insert shot from Norway introduced by a light flash. And possibly writing on visuals.

“You should be glad that I got lost in the forest”

There will be a tracking out (reverse of the opening scene) in a wide shot, fast pace building up momentum into a close up of the props – plant.

“Move my mind inside the forest… (Unrecognisable murmur duration: 24 seconds)”

During the 24 seconds there will be a mash up of inserts, all fast pace and vigorous. Some of the shots may be disturbing as there will be shots of plant pots smashing/cutting leaves on plants.

“IT’S MY FOREST” X5

Light flickering and strobe lighting alternating between long shots and close ups/extreme close ups of the model.
